Geosymm will, upon receipt of your order and payment, arrange for the production of one copy of the design applied and fired to a master charger (plate).
Each master plate is manufactured from the finest bone china, finished in gold, by Caverswall China Limited, holders of the royal warrant by appointment to HRH The Prince of Wales and suppliers to Fortnum & Mason, Aspreys, Thomas Goode, Paul Smith and Traditional Arts.
The charger will exhibit the client's chosen design in its circular and square forms. On the reverse "back stamp" is the designer's signature, the Geosymm mark, the manufacturer's mark and the geosymm unique serial number which contains information to identify the unique pattern and the date of creation.
Prior to delivery you will receive a document acknowledging your order with three parts of the image of the design together with the serial number and the design number. This certificate is printed on hand made paper.
The master charger will be delivered with a counterpart certificate which similarly provides the three parts of the image of the design together with the production sequence number. Please allow 21 days for production, finishing and delivery.
A word about colour reproduction on ceramics.
The colours applied to the ceramic master charger are made with ceramic toners. Due to the very variable nature of the display devices available we are unable to guarantee that the image on the charger will match that displayed on your display device.
When you buy a Geosymm design you are buying an intangible asset together with a permanent representation in the form of a charger.
The intangible asset is a sole world-wide copyright license or assignment for the design. This means that you and you alone have the right to use the design.
There are many ways in which you can exercise your right.
Firstly you may simply keep the charger for display purposes or perhaps you'd like to add some personalisation such as a photograph. But, if you are looking to create an interior design "look" incorporating your chosen geosymmetry you may wish to apply the design or parts of it to other materials such as tiles, textiles, dinner sets or glass and metal wares. We can arrange for the production of these items according to your requirements.
