How Geosymm works
The Geosymm principle is based upon radial components (rule 1).
Each component consists of its own set of parameters upon which design points are located (rule 2).
The design points also have their own unique parameters (rule 3).
Once the components, points and parameters have been drawn, the designer links and extends the cusps of the points according to the type of design required.
It is at this stage that the design's unique character is created.
The completed element is then rotated and repeated according to the angle of the radial components (rules, 4, 5 and 6) - to create circular, linear and square versions from the same geommetry.
The resulting element ends are joined. Line thickness and fill colours are selected and applied by the designer and the completed design is printed in a medium appropriate to the application. Well over 10,000 versions of the design may be obtained in this way from a single geommetry.
Each design is allocated its rule set number as well as a serial number and a creation number. These three elements form the basis for the design and enable it's reproduction should further copies be required or the original be lost or damaged.
